I have problems converting a large (18MB) Word 2003 file to PDF (I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional installed). The Word file contains several photos, but no fancy features like tables of contents, special formatting, exotic fonts, fields etc; in other words it's a plain text+photos document.
When I press the "Create PDF" button (or Print to PDF file) and specify the output filename, and after a couple of minutes of "printing" (page-by-page), the converter comes up with a PdM49.tmp file (identical to the initial Word file) that is open within Word, but no PDF file. The tmp file cannot be edited in Word or further converted to PDF. A smaller, text-only file, is normally converted to PDF, so it's not a general Acrobat problem.
Any suggestions would be extremely welcome.
