We have a SQL 2000 install on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server. We connect the clients to the database through ODBC's for our program with NT authentication and TCPIP. We get connected but after maybe a half hour of none use the connection seems to drop because if you try to open our program up the message is that you can't connect to the database. If you go into the ODBC config and try to connect it give you and error 0, SQL state HY000, cannot generate SSPI context. We have tried everything we can think of and don't know what the problem could be. Has anyone ran accross this?

Thanks,
Susan

Never seen that. But have you checked Enterprise Manager, right click on the server, select Properties and under the Options tab there's an option for AUTO CLOSE. Make sure that is NOT checked.
