Hi there,
we have a cisco vpn client, that seems to connect ok to the cisco security gateway and we are authenticated. However the IP settings for the client keep resetting back to 12.0.0.1 , 255.0.0.0 and a gateway of 12.0.0.1. This is not a network that is used anywhere within the company.
IP address assignment is done on a static basis, but attempting to change the settings results in immediate disconnection. As soon as the VPN is reinitialised the IP settings change back to the 12.0.0.1 static values.
This occurs on win2k and xp pro systems. Other systems have not been tried.
Anyone have any advice or suggestions (before you suggest the cisco web site, there's nowt there).
Thanks in advance,
nick
