I installed the inskin voice mail on an existing STS3, v100 I think, which is divided between 2 customers. One owns the first 6 lines, which point to the 1st 4 VM ports and use greeting 1 and 2. These lines ring on ext 100 and 101. The 2nd company owns lines 7-12, ports 5-8, and uses greetings 4 & 5. These lines ring on ext 100 and 106. (100 is a shared recept, the other ext are backup answering positions for each company.) This was working fine until one morning they all started getting the same greeting. At the same time, if you called the individual vm ports (150 thr 157) they all rang busy except for 157. To release them I had to power down and restart the system. Ever since doing that, instead of the auto attendant answering the incoming calls, the 1st 6 lines get answered by the mailbox on 101, and the last 6 get answered by the mailbox on 106.
I have been told 2 separate things by Vodavi tech support - one that it is a recognized problem w/ the version 100 software and can be fixed with a patch (which they sent me) and a second support person from Vodavi says it is the voice mail and it needs to be replaced. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks in advance.
