Problem with INFORMIX IDS 9,40 and AIX 5.1

Friends!!!.Warm Greetings.

Some of you has had this one problem:
It does not authenticate when I connect to the data base via TCP,shows error -952, but password is correct.

Somebody said that to the problem this to me related to shadow password.

How i can disable this or solve my problem.

It would thank for much its aid
