I asked this question on the Access forum but to no avail, so I'm trying here. The problem is whenever I import data from Excel to Access it limits the number of records to 16,384. The worksheet has over 20,000 records. If I split the worksheet in half, it imports all of the records without a problem, but then I have to put them all back together again into one table. I have tried exporting directly to an existing table and it does the same thing, I get just the 16,384. It does not create an error table as the data transfers fine, just not all of the records.
The same thing happens whenever I use the analyze with MS Excel option, if the recordset has more than 16,384 records, only 16,384 will make it to the Excel worksheet.
I suspect that the problem has something to do with the setup in Access, if my memory serves me right there were these types of limitations with Excel 5.0. However I'm using Access97 and Excel 97. If anyone has any ides, I'd be most happy to hear them.
Thank you for taking the time!
