Problem with Imacon Flextight scanner and W2k

Hi,

I have a problem with a Win2k Pro machine that has an Imacon Flextight scanner attached to it. In order to use this scanner with the scanning software I need to log on as local admin, open device manager and scan for changes, it then picks up the scanner and I can scan as usual.

I have to do this everytime the PC is turned off or rebooted and it is very frustrating, does anyone have a solution for this?
