Hi guys,

I have got Windows Vista Business and it has been working fine, until a little brat came to my house and I left my PC logged on and God know what he has done. Since then It's not been working right.

1. It launches Windows media player automatically, and starts playing music from the library.

2. When I close Internet Explorer it comes up with an error message can not shutdown. After you have closed it it will launch Internet Explorer again.

3. Sometimes when I am doing important work it shutsdown itself.

4. I have downloaded the latest version of AVG Antivirus and scanned the whole PC no viruses found. I have not checked for spyware yet but that's what I will do next.

5 The next step is backup all my files on to CD and format the Hard disk and re-install every thing but rather than going down that road I would prefer to resolve the issue and get on with it.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Saqi

Also look through System Restore. You should see restore points for any software that he may have installed. You could uninstall these and/or restore back to before he visited.
