Problem with ICMP Datagrams!!!

Hello friends. I need a little aid.

I have the following problem in my LAN:

My pSeries 6H1 Server is generating ICMP datagrams in the NETWORK and not like avoiding this.

How i can solve this problem.

This is a guess!

Is the system configured to use DNS? (/etc/resolve.conf)

If so, check /etc/netsvc.conf
look for the search order, it should read:
hosts = local , bind
not the other way round.
