problem with getting data from subreport

In the main report i have a groupby name and using subreport
i was getting the repective values for name from subreport.

linking the main report and subreport by name.

but i have some Null values for name in subreport and Main report does not have any Null values.how to get the data for that Null values in the main report from subreport.

Please help me out!!

Are you saying that there is no name in the subreport but there are values belonging to that name in the subreport? If so, you need to group in the main report on another field that always appears in the sub if there is data, e.g., a unique ID field. Then link the sub to the main report on the ID field.
