Problem with freezing of my MAC

Hi,

I have unusual problem with my MAC G4 OS9.2
When working no matter what program or task every 7-8 minutes my comp freezes for few seconds and doing it twice. All that lasting about 5-6 seconds and comp continuing to work normally until next 7-8 minutes when all going again. It's realy anoying. Is there any clue how to fix problem.

If you hold down the shift key as the Mac (it is not an acronym, so it is not in all caps) then no extensions will load at startup. If it does not stutter without extensions then you can use Extention Manager to disable them one at a time til you find it

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

you could also try a couple of other things....

1. Rebuild your desktop on start up (hold down alt+command on start up).

If that doesn't help...

2. Optimise you HD using a start up disk app like Norton Speed Disk.
