the links now come up in the left side instead of in the middle. Please help

<frameset rows="134,*">
<frame name="banner" scrolling="no" noresize target="contents" src="indextop.htm">
<frameset cols="188,*">
<frame name="contents" target="main" src="indexleft.htm">
<frame name="main" src="indexmid.htm" target="_self">
</frameset>

it apears the [red]target="_self"[/red] is the issue but when I delete it and resave Front page puts it right back in.

its this site

I guess what you mean is set the "Target" to the center page of the site?
This is what I did to fix it:
I did this by right clicking on indexleft.htm
then clicking "Page properties"
then clicking the "Default target frame" box which had "self" in it. This shows a nice graphic which allows you to pick which area you want. I changed it to the center area which it then shows up as "main".

so now it works

no i meant exactly what i put, your question sounded like you wanted to change the links alignment not the links target frame.
