Hello all:

We just had a new Avaya Partner Phone system installed, and the technician who installed it was able to set up all of the features, save one.

We have no problems at all transfering a call to an internal extension. HOwever, we have the need to transver calls to an external call center,. At the moment, that is not working. Does anyone have any advice for how to transfer calls to an outside number?

#322 is the program feature for remote call forwarding in an ACS R6 or R7 only.

Create a personel speed dial 80 for an unused extension (ext 50)using the phone number of the call center.

In #322 make extension 10 and extension 80 1 assigned.

At extension 10 do the following feature 11 50 80

If programmed correctly all intercom calls and all transfered calls to extension 50 will be forwarded to that speed dial 80 of ext 50.

It will tie up 2 lines until that call finished.

Sorry I miss typed
"In #322 make extension 10 and extension 80 1 assigned."

should be

In #322 make extension 10 and extension 50 1 assigned.

I don't beleive that you can RCF a non-existant extension port - that is to say that you don't have to have a phone connected, but you do need the physical extension port to forward it.

1043 is correct, make sure you give both stations rcf permissions.

I'll be d**med - I tried it previously and it didn't work without a port to go with it, but I just tested our system here, and it's a go!!

Not only does it work but you can even do a supervised transfer with it.
