Problem with forwarding mail to AOL account

I currently have a users exchange account set up to forward mail to 3 email addresses (one to their home AOL account, one to their mobile phone and one to their blackberry device). The forwarding as far as I am aware is working fine because the mobile phone and blackberry device are receiving mail fine. The AOL account however can be hit and miss (as can hotmail accounts) on receiving mail. I just don't understand!! The mail leaves the exchange queue fine but then what happens to it!!

we had this problem recently too. Make sure that your reverse DNS is working properly, as I believe that AOL is doing reverse DNS checking on inbound mail.
