I have a page that I am trying to format, but I can't seem to do it. Right now I am using tables, but I am open to try and make it work with CSS.
The problem I have is when the left box expands down the page, the information at the bottom of the page "Stuff goes here" and the shadow bar above it gets pushed to the bottom of the page. I would like the shadow bar and "Stuff goes here" to be as high as possible and tight to the yellow box.

Here is the link to where I put the page I am trying to format:

Thanks

Well.... your page actually does what you're wanting in firefox - message and bar flush up against the yellow and blue boxes.

First off you should start with a valid doctype and ensure your code validates. Besides that.... your page is just too much garbled nested table garbage to try to sift through for such a simple layout. You really should think about getting rid of the tables, especially considering they're not rendering correctly for you anyway - since it looks like you're early in the design stage you might as well start on the right foot.

I've checked multiple websites on CSS Layout and I couldn't find one that described what I needed to accomplish.
I am just going to change my layout and stick with tables.
thanks again,
