What am I doing wrong.
Using the fileconvert VB macro built in to X3 I hope to to convert .AI and .EPS files from my collection.
The macro seems to be loading and saving the files but when I look at the new CDR files they all look like scanned bitmaps and are unusable for vinyl cutting.

If I manually load .AI or .EPS files, I am asked if I want text or curves. I select curves and then save as CDR. The new CDR now file looks perfect.

I tried manually loading a batch of files and recorded a macro to "save as" and then close the file but that does not work because the macro takes on the "save as" file name and will not work for other file names on playback.

I tried the Oberon script in Coreldraw 9 but it cannot save .CDR

Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved,
Using Coreldraw9 I saved the files as .CMX using the FileConv.csc script from oberon.com.
