Problem with favourites and home page

I frequently get rogue entries in my favourites in Internet Explorer when I have not put them there. I am also finding on a number of machines that the home page changes from the default. What is wrong?

This doesn't work, there is no registry key for Internet Explorer under Policies. Should I try anywhere else?

Then you'll need to create those keys to lock the page you prefer.

Favorites?...No fix yet.

I have created the keys and it works. But it only prevents me from changing the homepage. If you go to the following site you will see what I mean

Oh, thanks for the link, it contains the JS.IEStart trojan (111(1).htm) in the temporary internet files directory.

I wouldn't suggest anyone click on this link.

My virus scasnner caught it and I was able to delete it. My homepage never changed.

What scanner do you use, we may have to change ours because it doesn't pick this up.
