It's intel 480T but it's the same as 5i. Key problem is that ports cannot be enabled although their working because LEDs are blinking.
show log shows:
05/08/2005 02:09.47 <DBUG:pORT> MAC Not found on slot 1 port 16 - val0 10008aaa val1 10005555.
05/08/2005 02:09.47 <DBUG:pORT> MAC Not found on slot 1 port 15 - val0 10008aaa val1 10005555.
05/08/2005 02:09.47 <DBUG:pORT> MAC Not found on slot 1 port 14 - val0 10008aaa val1 10005555.
and so on for all port except mgmt

switch480T:3 # enable ports 1
ERROR: unable to enable port 1. Check log for any details.

Any clues what can cause problems like this? I couldn't find similar error description on extreme site.

Is learning enabled on that port?, on Extreme it's possible to disable port learning, which stops the port from learning new mac addresses. If this is the case, then it can't learn any MAC addresses which is preventing it from being enabled.

If this is the device NetStructure™ 480T Routing Switch
then you're in for a bitt of a headache.
