Meridian 1 pbx.

- Local caller dials extension number located in building, call established.
- Local caller dials extension number connected to pbx via satellite, call established.
- External caller dials my pbx, hears menu, dials extension number located in building, call established.
- External caller dials my pbx, hears menu, dials extension number connected to pbx via satellite, no call established.

My experience with this pbx is limited but I dont want to be spoon feeded. Any hints on what to look for? LDs to check?

TIA.

Looks like you have already done good trouble-shooting, I would look the other way, toward Satellite scenerio. For the 1st 3 to work, call flow is good, how it is coming in prior to pbx is where to start.

That means the call has to go out of the switch to the public network and insert the number for the satellite, then come back on the number you dialed to get there in Option 2

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
