Hello,

I'm a fairly new user of Access and am having problems with embedding charts in Reports.

After running a report, i go into 'design view'. From there I go to Insert > Charts and complete the details requested by the Wizard. I am able to preview the chart (containing the correct data) in the Wizard. However when I click 'Finish', the chart that appears is the 'dummy' ('North' 'East' 'West') MS chart.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions...

many thanks in advance.

Access places a generic looking graph in the design view. Like the one you described. However, when you view the report in the preview mode, the graph will look like the graph you made and want!
