Dear all,

I have a problem with reports using dynamic parameter prompts in the Business Objects 11 Server/Infoview.

We have a couple of reports which need to include dynamic data in certain pick lists and parameter prompts, thus we built a couple of business views and dynamic parameter prompts in the BO 11 Server.

When we are starting our reports from the CR 11 developer studio, everything works fine. The dynamic pick lists are shown and it is possible to select a parameter from it.

After we deployed those reports into our Business Objects 11 Server environment, i always get the following error when i try to schedule a report in the InfoView and change one of the dynamic prompts :

'An error has occurred: Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004100F. '

This error immediatly pops up when i click onto a dynamic parameter in InfoView. It is not possible to change one of the paramater prompts at all.

What i found really strange : It is possible to set default values for those reports in the BO Enterprise Central Management Console for all the reports. Here the dynamic parameter prompts are shown and it is possible to select a default value for each parameter.

Has anybody here experienced similar problems ?

Check your page server, make sure it is running.

Thanks so much!

I'm not sure how it works with Business Views, but in other cases dynamic pick-lists are handled by the List of Values Server. You may have some issues there that are causing the problem. Also, have you applied the September hotfix? There are 174 pages of items that have been fixed and I seem to recall seeing something about dynamic prompting there.
