This brand new device has been used on two different PCs (both running XP - SP1 and SP2) and caused problems on both of them.
1. It was first plugged into a Sony VAIO laptop and the KeySafelite.exe programme run. (This is to enable the protection feature.) However, one cannot use the device because it keeps saying "Insert disk in drive E:". Well, drive E: is this flash drive, and there is no software available either supplied with the drive or on the manufacturer's website...
After this problem it was noticed that when a different make of Flash drive was now plugged into the Sony, it won't recognise it either, coming up with the same error message. This particular drive worked fine on this PC before, and still works ok when plugged into other machines.
2. Plugging the Disgo into a different PC, it can be made to operate ok, but the the Safely Eject Hardware always says the device is in use when it clearly isn't. Plug in a different Flash drive, it works fine, and can be ejected correctly using the systemtray icon.
Also, it has been noticed that since this Disgo Flash drive was first introduced to this second PC, the IDE l.e.d. now flashes continuously at 1 second intervals - it never did this before. Machine is a recent clean install, not currently connected to internet and no other problems, antivirus up to date and no adware detectable. No unknown services running, and only two entries in the registry relating to KeySafelite.exe. These were deleted but still the regular flashing IDE l.e.d.
