problem with Designer standard Reports

I am trying to create report output for simple things like entity and their attributes by double clicking on the corresponding reports in the Repository reports, but the output that is shown on the web is a blank report without any entities which I know I had created. I have version 9i, which I have not used before. Am I running the report properly? Is there an installation problem? Help! I do not know how to get proper report output. Thanks.

I also have no experience with 9, but may suggest to check report conditions in Properties.
