Hello, I want to start off saying I hope I am posting in the correct place and that I am not a computer genius. I apologize in advance if I am doing something wrong.
I use Napa Tracs software program that uses Interbase Server WI-v6.0.1.0. The reason for my question is that I just had to replace a bad hard drive that was apprarently corrupting my data. The following are the errors I was getting:
error opening GetRoItem query
error table is busy
unknown internal ose
c:\napa\tracs\db\work\TROItem.db
and:
error opening GetROItem query
error general SQL error
database file appears corrupt()
bad checksum
checksum error on database page 16939

I had to update the software and send the data to my napa tracs support vendor and they claimed to have fixed all of the data. However, I do not have any repair orders in my system after august 14th. When i contacted them about the problem they said that the data tables were crosslinked and TOO bad. It is just gone. Any suggestions for me PLEASE.
thanks
rachel

Where is your .GDB file?
Normally interbase files have .GDB extension.
Try to use IBCONSOLE from interbase to connect to database.
