Here's the situation: I have an exported list of contacts - located on the server. Each client imports this list into his or her contacts (has been working - until now). After import, when you select to view the contacts (sorted under the file as selection) no names are displayed in the gray box - what I see is a gray box (where the last name, first name should be), and any telephone numbers. However, when you open a contact, they do have data in the file as field (ex; Smith, John). I tried to sort the contacts by fullname to see them differently, but they show up on the contact screen all jumbled (not sorted). The software is up to date (updates, add-ins, etc). How can I correct this problem? Does anyone know of anything I can do? Thanks! "Try everything at least once."

Exported to what format? Have you tried mapping the fields to make sure the data posts correctly? joegz

I export the list as a *.pst file (nothing special). Any suggestions? "Try everything at least once."

Try exporting to a .CSV file and then import. Check the the field mappings when importing and see if that makes a difference. joegz
