Problem with clipping paths?

Today I am having a problem with files I am importing from Photoshop into PageMaker 7 that have Clipping Paths.

No matter what I do they always have an opaque white background.

I have tried saving them as both EPS and Tif but nothing works, I have never had this problem before.

Anyone have any idea what’s going on.

Any help appreciated.

open your paths palette. double click on your path and give it a name. Now in the same palette, click on the drop-down arrow and choose clipping path. Now the path will be included in either the eps or the tif. BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!
