problem with CIL

hi,
i have a customer in BC 12 sp 11, and i try to configure a 2 CIL in the same SIU. I have program the first ports
of the SIU and i haven`t got any problem but when i configure the second port appear this problem.Is possible to
configure the two ports of the SIU for CIL?

Hello

Try EDFII:FILE=SMDR03;, as the FILE "SMDR02" already exists.
Or try EDFII:FILE=SMDR02; to erase the passive file.

Not possible to use 2 CIL port on the same SIU in BC8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Only BC3-7.2.

ok, but why the SIU has 2 cil port?

I don't know.

From BC8.0 not support 2 SIU port on the same card. If you want 2 CIL port, then have to 2 SIU cards or 1 NIU card. On the NIU card you can to program 3 CIL ports.

On one MD system only SIU cards or only NIU cards possible to use for CIL ports.

The Second SIU port was used for backup purposes in case of problem on the cable.
