I'm trying to change the replication scope from all DNS servers in M$.com domain to all DNS servers in M$.com forest and am getting the error message that follows:

The replication scope could not be set. For more information, see “DNS zone replication in Active Directory” in Help and Support. The error was:

The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded.

I have also tried performing this change from command prompt and get an error such as:

the_zone_does_not_exsist .

As a next step I would consider attempting this procedure:
as I do believe the defalt partition is somewhat hosed which is why I cannot change to this forest zone.

Any assistance/thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin
