"Catalog server could not access the index database(C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Catalogs\BeTopCat.idx) do to one of the following reasons:
1. Backup Exec installation did not complete successfully.
2. Database DLLs have been overwritten.
3. Database DLLs have been corrupted.
d:\be\samoa\2371r\becat\server\catalogindex.cpp(325) "
Interestingly enough, the same entry in the saved logfile which I'm sending you has this for the same event:
"The description for Event ID ( 34332 ) in Source ( Backup Exec Catalog Server ) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Catalogs\BeTopCat.idx, d:\be\samoa\2371r\becat\server\catalogindex.cpp(325)."
Anyway, this *.idx file doesn't seem to exist! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling BExec, and it just comes back to the same thing.
