I am trying to install the Nortel CallPilot Desktop Messaging client. I am using Outlook 2007 SP1 and accessing an Exchange 2007 Server for email. After installing the CallPilot client, I the following sequence occurs whenever I either start Outlook or try to access my Outlook profile through Control Panel:
1. The Nortel CallPilot splash screen is displayed.
2. A window comes up for me to enter my extension and password for my voice mail.
3. I enter my extension and password and click "OK".
4. I get the following RUNDLL error:
An excpetion occurred while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL"C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\Office12\MLCFG32.CPL",@0"
Other people here are able to use this client without a problem. It adds itself to their Outlook profile and runs without error.
Any ideas what the problem may be?
Thank you.
