Problem with call restriction 1

Restriction issue….
8 X 24 DR5DS
Centrex lines… ( have to dial 9 for CO line from central office)
To groups of restriction… number 02 no restrictions number 01 do not allow long distance ( 91, 9411, 90)

One of the departments is all call restricted group 01.. If the need to do a long distance call.. The call receptionist and she dials the long distance call and then she transfers the call to the person… that person take the call that was transferred and her is the problem... when the call is transferred and the line is ringing if a auto attendant answers the must enter a one digit or tree digit extension.. When the do so the phone says call restricted… there are not even able to enter the 0 no digit at all… why is this?

a little longer explination is that when the transfer is completed your phone is seen as having its initial access to the outside line. when you start dialing digits the restriction filters start applying themselves.

There is a very sophisticated application for Norstar and BCM that can do all kinds of toll restrictions based on extension, line, time of day, account code, login code, department etc. It is called tools CTI Pack by RSI. It also provides CDR for the forced/verified account codes.
