I've had this printer for a year now, but I rarely use it.
The other day, I tried to print a small jpg file that it jammed the paper (does that once in a while). I removed the jammed paper and tried again, but ever since it's been complaining that it doesn't have paper, but it's got a whole stack !

I've tried different things i.e. readjusted the papers ! restarted the printer, unplugged, plugged it back in! tried printing other things !
no luck!

Any advise?

If there is paper stuck under a sensor, then it will report that error. Take a look at this page for clues on how to remove the jam.

My dad's LaserJet 5L died the other day. Paper got jammed under the fuser (which is bad). Turned out that something broke in the fuser. He ended up just buying a new printer, which was an all-in-one HP, for $69.00!

I'm not a big fan of all-in-one printers, because when one part breaks, you are better off tossing the whole thing out, usually. But, at that price, you can't go wrong. 1200x600 resolution, and color, too! He was very pleased.
