Problem with Back-up Exec 4.6 on a local net

I am using Back-up exec 4.6 and what I want to do is back-up my whole system to another computer in my home. I'm running win2000 Pro NTFS system and when I start backing up, everything seems fine. Its when I come to the end of the back-up is when everything stops. The program says its done, but the menu just has "cancel" on it. Seems that when the job is finish, the software doesn't know it. The only way I can do a full back-up the why I explained is through
windows 2000 Pro back-up software. Does anyone know why I'm having this problem with Back-up exec and know how to fix this problem?
