When upgrading from ArcServeIt 6.61 to ArcServe 2000 everything is complited OK. I had ArcServe VLDB database type in 6.61. All the jobs that I configured in the older version exist in the Jobs window, but in the Database window I don't see the records about tapes and jobs from the old version. What happened? Are databases partially ovewritten? Or how can I merge older records that exist on the hard drive to the new database without using tape recovery or configure it correctly? Or is there the correct way of perfoming such upgrade?

During the Upgrade the process would have prompted you to select if you want to keep the job queue and the DB...

What did you choose here???

Cheers

There was no such question. After running Standart Setup of Arcserve AE from Product browser it found an older version and proceeded with upgrade.

HI,

After it started the upgrade porcess ... it would have asked you these questions...

if not you database has been overwritten...
what you need to do now is to merge all the tapes back to the new DB..

cheers
