Hello,
Recently, I have had to re-install the ARCServe Manager on to my workstation and I cannot seem to get the manager software talking to the server.
I have put both the server and workstation name and IP address in both HOSTS files and edited my registry with this registry key, per CA's technical document #19110:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\ARCServeIT\BASE\Alternate\FILE with the decimal value set to 5000.
After all of this, I cannot get this up and running, is there something I missed or is there a trick I don't know about? Thanks for the help.
