Problem with another Language

I have developed an Access query with certains numeric operations (adds , minus, etc) in a Windows 98 machine. This machine make fine the operations but when I run this query in a machine with Windows 98 that is configured with Portugueze (Brazilian, by the way) the same query make bad the operations.

Any tip, please?
