I've been trying out the Aebacus Popup Controls Library (v. 1.04, demo) in my Access 2002 database. I'm having a problem with the AeCommandBox control when it's configured as an AeMenuPopup type. I can't get the correct syntax to reference the MenuClick event (sorta vital to the whole idea of a menu). The syntax given in the help file refuses to work, giving me a "Procedure declaration does not match description of event or procedure having the same name" at compile time. However, the demo came with several compiled VB executables, and that syntax seems to work fine in the demo programs, so I suspect it's an issue between the control and the Access VBA compiler. I've sent e-mail to Aebacus, but have not received a reply. Their website has apparently not been updated since 2000, which does not leave me terribly hopeful for any future support or product development. Does anyone on this forum have any experience with these controls? Know of a work-around? Know of a similar control or collection of controls that isn't too expensive? Thanks for any assistance!
