Problem with Address Book adding Contacts to New Group!!

When trying to add a contact to a new group, there is the following error!

THE SELECTED ENTRY DOES NOT HAVE A VALID ADDRESS

it happens when trying to add an e-mail address other than of lotus notes, like for example anybody@hotmail.com

A Domino server can allow for anonymous access from an intra/internet user, at the condition that the server runs the HTTP task and (for internet access) can be accessed from the web.
If the database is secured, then the user must have an account in the server NAB - account which is created with a Person document. Do not forget to assign a Web Password, else the user will not be able to log in.
If the server is not accessible from the web, or if it does not run the HTTP task, the user must have a Notes account to access the server.
Only users with Notes accounts can be included in groups.
