I'm using Access 2000 as front for MSDE. The adp works fine in a standalone environment during the development stage. But when i installed it in our LAN, out of five workstations, the four adp cannot connect to the MSDE. Only the workstation where the MSDE was installed is working.

More Info.:

1. We have a LAN with 10 computers.
2. We have only win98 as OS (peer-to-peer networking)

Are the workstations attempting to connect with NT Authentication and/or the named pipes net-library? These options do not work with MSDE installed on Win95 or Win98. You must use SQL Authentication and an alternate Net-library such as TCP/IP. See the following article.

The name of the MSDE computer must be typed in to the server name of the connection's data link properties on the clients. It must be the network name of the computer where MSDE is running. See the following article for more details about connecting to MSDE from Access projects. It was written for SQL 7 but should still be applicable to SQL 2000.
