Hi

I have to make a restore.
The restore date shoot be 14. February.
The last Full was on the 9. the rest are incrementals.

So i start the restore and it says it need 2 Tapes (bouth Tapes are in the library). it Mount the first tape (the tape from the last Full Backup) read the Header and says as next "Done". in the recover windows it says "resoure busy wait for 30 sec" then it starts again read the Header and resource busy and so on.
Then 1 start a restore from the 9. (the day of the full backup) he need only the 1 Tape (the same full Backup tape as above) this restore works normal no problem.

So has anyone an idee what the problem is ?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

either NetWorker had messed up at the time of the restore or you've hit a bug. What version and platform are we talking about? Have you tried the same operation after NetWorker was restarted? Seems very fishy to me that it should only be a problem when several volumes are needed. Could you try to verify this? Both with the same restore again and with a totally different one?

Have you got your data back as needed yet? If not, you could always use save set recovers to restore only the remaining incrementals.
