Hi ;)

Running 2003 server & exchange 2007

I recently had to delete a user for some profile problems. I deleted him, he was then deleted from the Exchange Server too.

I re-created him on AD, and did the same on Exchange.

1st remark : even once he was deleted, he still appeared on th e list of addresses.

2nd : if i try to send him an email, now that he's back, i get this in a non-delivery email :

IMCEAEX-_O=FIRST+20Exchange+20Organization_ou=Exchange+20Administrative+20Group+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_cn=Recipients_cn=nameofuser@company.com
#550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found ##

What's wrong ?

How long did you wait? The GAL is rebuilt once a day. If you're running Outlook in cached mode, you're downloading the OAB once per day. Put those together, and someone could be listed in the GAL for two days till everything lines up right.
