Problem with a Parameter

The problem that I am having is if you cancel the parameter instead of inputting information, the whole database shuts down and it goes to the database screen?

Why is this happening and how can I fix this?

Brian,
One thing you can do is to have the parameter be a function and not let people get out of the function until they have input an appropriate value.
