Problem with 2k domain seeing an NT Domain

Hi,

I'm trying to implement a Win2k Pilot within my company. I have set up a win2k server, It can see the one of the NT domains that we have here but it can not see the other.

It can, however, see the servers inside the domain. It allows me to set up and verify the trusts between both the domains and i can see the win2k domain from the NT domain.

Anyone come across this before / got any ideas?

cheers

I am testing a Windows 2000 server. I have it setup with active directory service. The W2K server is the Primary DNS server and I have a nt machine as the secondary DNS server. When I try to add the W2K machine to my secondary server I get the error message: no endpoint was found on this mapper. I can't seem to get the W2K machine and the NT machine to recoginize each other as primary and secondary dns servers.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Two things you might look at. In your dns console on the w2k machine look to see if you have a folder with a . on it. If so then you might consider deleting it. Also when setting up your dns zones you should make them primary standard because an NT machine cannot see the Active directory integrated DNS. It has to be text based. [sig][/sig]
