Problem whith the net or Interdev

I hope that someone could help whith this problem.I have to install a page in another server(I did the page in another place) .First I tried to create a new proyect in the new server to after add the proyect, but Interdev never could connect whith the IIS (neither whit IP), after I copy all proyect to IIS directly, I can see some pages but only the pages that not use the database, due to the global.asa connect the database when start the aplication.I change the the server in the global.asa file but continue whithout find the server when start like when a tried to create a new proyect with Interdev.My doubt is if the problem is a problem whith the net(some persons told me that they neeed a Wins to I can see and connect whit the SQL Server whith the global.asa) or what.

I hope that is not so confuse
