Hi,

Whne ever I start a new report I mostly use command to put my query in. Once I put the query it takes lot of time to get into the report and start working on. Some times it do not respond at all for long time and then I have to end the task and restart again. Why this happens and is there any solution to reduce the time it takes?

I am using crystal XI

Thanks,
M

Lbass posted an FAQ a while back that has helped me tremendously with report speed. Several users have added to it which made it all that much more valuable to me. I believe it does address SQL command statements as well.

Not sure if this is how you are supposed to post a link in this forum or not.

Incidentally, were you referring to an SQL Command or an SQL expression in your previous post?
