Hi everyone,

I have an asp application that displays a graph based on data from an Access database. The problem I noticed today is that when users try to view the graph while my macro is runnning, they receive a 'Page cannot be displayed error' (http 500 internal server error). I can view the graph just fine even when the macro is running, but I am also an administrator on that machine (if this matters.) The macro I mention refreshes externally linked tables, then updates several local tables. Is there anything I can do to stop this problem from occuring?

Thanks,

Dhx

This sounds more like an issue for the ASP or ASP.net forum.

Off the top of my head, your Macro is probably affecting the ability of the database to communicate with your page?

There may be a way you can add error handling for this to your page, and just display a default image rather than the graph at times when your macro is running.

Hope this helps,

Alex
