Problem while retrieving data from SQL through components

Hi,
I have a table where in i have around 10,00000 records. The table doesnt have any indexes and i am accessing the table based on around 70 fields. I am accessing through COM components and i am using MTS. Since there is lot of data in table, the transaction time is lot and i am getting SQL error, saying that component-request-pending and giving options to Switch or Retry. Can some one please help me how to handle this situation..
