Here is my question.can anyone help on this issue.
I have a PC at my house.I have installed
win 98.Whenever I shutdown Win98
It says, please wait windows is shutting down.
Ultimately the system is not shutting down.
I have to switch off the cpu deliberately for this. Will it affect my harddisk. What is the solution for this.
Becos this is my brand new system(Assembled one).

Kindly help me in this regard.

Thanks in advance

Depending on the details of your installation and a gazzilion other factors (there are no cut'n dried solutions) you might try hitting the escape key.

I've seen it do magic on several systems with the same problem.
