Problem when trying to go to internet

Hi guys;
how are u?

This is my issue...
I can ping any web page to outside my network; the connection to my network is clear and neat, but when trying to go to internet i receive a message that internet cannot be displayed; other pc's in the network can go to the internet without issues.

Please help.

What browser? Have you checked for malware?

Wben you say "I can ping any web page to outside my network", not sure what that means... are you saying that when you ping, let's say "ping

http://www.google.com"

you get a reply?

If IE, you can check Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings and see if proxy server settings have been turned on (some malware will do that). Or post a hijackthis log.

on the affected Box, type the following in a DOS BOX and reboot:

netsh winsock reset catalog



report the results back, pls....

^^^ Or just reboot and see if it works after doing the winsock reset.

I would definitely check the proxy, as mentioned, as the first step though.
