problem w/ pop-ups

i have a problem w/ my IE 6. I'm running WinXP Home Ed (it's the 1st os on my pc), and previously, pop-ups would come up normally in ie6 w/o stealing the focus from whatever games i'm playing. (btw, i use AnalogX POW in order to get rid of the pop-ups from stealing bandwidth). But recently, the pop-ups steal the focus away from whatever i'm doing, and it doesn't help out when i'm gaming online. so if anyone has a solution to this, i'd really appreciate their help
